Applicants must:

Be 15-18 years of age, at time of camp.

Have completed 10th or 11th grade, at time of camp.

HAve a cumulative GPA of 2.5 and above.

Have NO criminal record.

Check your record online through WATCH.

Be healthy and capable of strenuous exercise and stress.

Be interested in a Criminal Justice career path.

Step 1: Download Application
Be detail oriented!
Make sure you collect all documents, medical releases, and recommendations.
Only complete applications will be considered.
Step 3: Submit Your Documents
You are welcome to take pictures and email the pages, or drop everything in the mail to the address on the application.
Be sure to include a copy of your drivers license, permit, state id, or passport. Email us if you do not have one of these options.
Double check yourself! You can send several emails, just make sure you send us everything!
Step 5: Acceptance/Not Acceptance | Pay Camp Fee
You will receive an email stating your acceptance/not acceptance.
Upon acceptance, you will need to contact your local Kiwanis club or other sponsor/grant source. The sponsor will come to this site to pay your camp fee (or mail a check). The balance is TBD.
We can assist you in finding your local Kiwanis club.
If you are not accepted, we will refund you $25. Juniors, please apply again next year.
Costs
COSTS LISTED BELOW ARE FROM 2024. WE ARE DETERMINING COST FOR 2025, BUT THE PROCESS BELOW WILL REMAIN IN PLACE.
The total cost for camp is $750.
$50 is the responsibility of the participant.
The balance of $700 can be sponsored by your local Kiwanis club, or other community sponsorship program. Upon acceptance to the program, if you need help connecting you to your Kiwanis club representative, we can help.
Camp includes:
(2) Uniform t-shirt with participant last name on back
(1) Uniform sweatshirt with last name on back
(1) Uniform baseball hat
(1) PT gym shorts
Lodging and meals for the week and all activities.
Participants are responsible for transportation to and from camp.
Dress code:
Cadettes are expected to wear jeans, belts, and exercise appropriate shoes. They are provided a packing list.
