Applicants must:

Be 15-18 years of age, at time of camp.

Have completed 10th or 11th grade, at time of camp.

Have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 and above.

Have NO criminal record.

Check your record online through WATCH.

Be healthy and capable of strenuous exercise and stress.

Be interested in a Criminal Justice career path.

Step 3: Submit Your Documents
You are welcome to take pictures and email the pages, or drop everything in the mail to the address on the application. Be sure to include a copy of your drivers license, permit, state id, or passport. Email us if you do not have one of these options.
Double check yourself! You can send several emails, just make sure you send us everything!
Step 5: Acceptance/Not Acceptance | Pay Camp Fee
You will receive an email stating your acceptance/not acceptance.
Upon acceptance, you will need to contact your local Kiwanis club or other sponsor/grant source, we will help you make this connection. The sponsor will come to this site to pay your camp fee (or mail a check). The balance is $600.
No student is denied acceptance due to financial circumstances. Through the combined support of local Kiwanis Clubs and KYLEC, every student is ensured this opportunity.
If you are not accepted, we will refund you $25. Juniors, please apply again next year.
